Lissette Garzon, BS, CBHCMS, CTP is the visionary Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Legacy Community Center. She is a dynamic and compassionate leader with over two decades of dedicated experience in the social services field. Lissette founded Legacy Community Center with a clear mission: not just to offer services, but to redefine the standard of community care and build an organization grounded in integrity, empathy, and professionalism.

Her foundational vision was forged through 20 years of frontline experience, working with the most vulnerable populations, including those affected by homelessness, domestic violence, trauma, and complex behavioral health challenges. Lissette’s extensive background is her strategic blueprint. Her career, spanning clinical settings, non-profit management, and public health initiatives, has provided her with a unique, holistic perspective.

Lissette identified the gaps where crisis intervention, policy development, and program administration often fail to connect. Legacy’s goal is to be that bridge. She leads the organization with a systems-based approach, ensuring every solution is comprehensive and client-centered, addressing both immediate needs and root causes.

As a leader, Lissette is guided by an unwavering belief in empowerment, social justice, and human dignity. She champions a model that helps individuals recognize their inherent strengths and resilience. Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Florida International University, along with a State Certification as a Targeted Case Management Supervisor (CBHCMS) and a certification as a Trauma Professional (CTP).
