Marianne Millan is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern currently working toward licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She is passionate about helping individuals and families strengthen their relationships while honoring each person’s unique needs. Marianne approaches her work as a compassionate and supportive guide, assisting clients in navigating life’s challenges while fostering connection, understanding, and emotional growth.
Marianne works with adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a range of concerns, including relationship difficulties, addiction, emotional regulation challenges, and life stressors. She focuses on helping clients strengthen communication, heal from past experiences, establish healthy boundaries, and feel safe expressing thoughts and emotions that may have been difficult to share. Her goal is to ensure clients feel heard, validated, and empowered as they work toward healthier relationships and personal growth.
Her therapeutic style is warm, supportive, and collaborative. Marianne primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients develop practical coping skills, shift unhelpful patterns, and build on their existing strengths to create meaningful and lasting change. Her experience working with teens, individuals struggling with addiction, and those with lower levels of functioning has strengthened her patience, adaptability, and empathetic approach.
In addition to her clinical work, Marianne volunteers at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, where she supports children and families during challenging times by engaging with pediatric patients and providing relief and support to caregivers.
Marianne is dedicated to providing client-centered, compassionate care and considers it an honor to support individuals and families during vulnerable moments. She is committed to helping clients grow, heal, and move forward with confidence.
Marianne speaks English and Spanish.
